The power of prayer is strong but praying without faith is a waste of time and faith is a blessing from god that is given to us because we have earned it being loyal servents. Calling on god when you are in trouble,when the ship is about to sink, is like calling on some one you have ignored all your life then knocking on there door to ask to borrow some money, you know what you would get.
Friendship needs to be consistant not a hi! i am pleased to speak to you today and tomorrow i will shun you,god would be offended just as we are when somebody does that to us. He is forgiving like a good father but he expects some loyalty from us.
It is amazing how we think that we can call on god when in trouble and if he helps us we then shut the door on him without even a thank you. And when he does not help we say there is no god, expecting his help when we have not given him a second thought in a life time. What a cheek!
