Those who suffer are so much closer to god is probably one of the reasons, because the less we have the more grateful we are. I was brought up by a foster mother who taught me to be grateful for every thing i had, i was never allowed to destroy anything and expect it to be replaced with another. 0nce i destroyed some thing even by accident it did not get replaced, therefore i took great care of things.

  I was taught to make the best of every thing god gave me, in other words to value things. Those who are hungry want to be fed they want nothing else,those who are greedy want more all the time of things they do not need, its so easy for them, they are not happy.

Today's Psalm:
   Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

  I always think that there is horrendous power in the wind and electrical storms and i always pray. I think evidence is there of the damage that it could do if it wanted to. When i switched of my computor last night i prayed and it was as if the good lord was saying 0k but get this and then sent this horrendous rain followed by peace and stillness, swear he as a sense of humour.

 For me it was a peaceful evening but for some it was quite horrendous from what i hear. I was lucky again this morning when i took my dog out it was dull and cold but no wind,now the wind is quite ferocious  once again. 

    Another rough night for us in Uk. wind is getting up again here and the weather forecast says 80 mile an hour winds are to hit us again tonight. Roofs have blown of homes in parts of the country and a lot of trees have come down already.

  The tops of the trees outside are swinging around like mad and the electrics flash on and of ,its quite eiry, think tonight i will have a glass of wine and go to bed will not be able to get the tele on anyway and i will probably be up again if the wind gets too bad.  

   The trees outside my door stayed but when i took my dog out this morning i met with a blocked road with a large tree ripped out by the roots blocking the road so that i had to take a long trip round through traffic.

   The wind was still howling on the fields and a lot of rain must have come down in the night as the fields were squelching and my feet sank into mud that went over my shoes, i was frozen and fed up by the time i got back home and collapsed into a chair just wishing there was somebody to make me a cuppa but there was not so i had to make my own,never mind eh..I was so glad to get back into a warm place. 0h for some sunshine.

Verse 13. For by one spirit are we all baptized into one body,wether we be Jew or gentile,wether we be bond or free we have all drank in one spirit.

Verse 14. The body is not one member but many.

Verse 26. when one member suffers we all do,when one is honoured we all are.

 I suppose the dews in world war two had no idea that they would be taken away to there death,or to work for crumbs,or  the german people could believe the horrors that went on under there noses,why should normol people believe these horrors that most of us would never want to be part of..

  A lot of fuss as been made about a puppy persecuted and murdered by a soldier and so it should be,how sick, but what of the mind of this soldier is he going to come back home and murder his wife or somebody,surely he needs treatment. Seeing the things he does should soften his heart not harden it, he needs help,puppy now, who next..

   When we think there is some thing wrong with our computor its often that some one is just messing us about,changing our settings and things, i have had that happen to me. Like i say some people can not run to doing any thing else but stir it,or upset somebody ,specially if they think you are trying to do good, they think your a joke.

   Some people never grow up they remind me of the kids in my school who loved to spoil things if you knew the answer to a question and might be doing well in class and they were not they wanted to spoil it, they cover there lack of skill and imagination with trying to be funny. .

  Lucky i have no secrets from any one so whatever you find out you can do what ever you like with whoever you  are, you dear sweet little cretin.Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeheeeeeeeeeeeheeeeeeeeeeeee

Verse 45. At noon the whole country was covered in darkness.

Verse 54. the army officers watched, there was an earthquake,thunder and lighning. ( sorry about writing gremlins again) the soldiers turned to each other and  said, he really was the son of god.

Ch 28.

  To cut along story short Jesus was not in the tomb when mary came to look,he had risen, at first she thought he was one of the gardeners until she looked into his face and saw it was him.

  It came to pass that Peter and the other diciples claimed they did not know Jesus just as he said they would. Thanks to Judas betrayal Jesus was taken to Pilate who did not want to be involved because he knew jesus was innocent.

  The people wanted jesus dead so he was taken to the gallows, as he walked they screamed at him, they spat at him, they mocked him, they pushed him, and beat him. He was nailed to a cross by his feet and hands after they had put a crown of thorns upon his head and called him King of the jews in a mocking way.

 He hung there for three days,he begged for water and he was handed vinegar on a cloth on the end of a stick.  I find this difficult to write so i am glad we are coming towards the part where Jesus is resurected back to life. 

   For any one who knows the spirit and as walked his way this is a painful thing, a lot like watching some one you love suffer and die, which we all do at some time in our life, i suppose,this feeling is no different. Next time we go onto the resurection a more hopeful and cheerful part that gives us all hope..

  0ne thing i have learned over the years is that i do no longer blame god for the failings of people,there are many Christian people who are not as good as they might be. 0ne thing some people forget is that a wagging tongue can be as evil as a sword,but some do not think there is anything wrong with gossiping,but it can be as big a sin as anything else if we do not have the facts right or we are enjoying running somebody else down.. 

  0nce i cared about what others thought of me, now i only care what god thinks of me,he is afterall the only one i trust and the only one who really knows me,if i am snubbed by any one i have an insight to the nature of the person i am dealing with and i am glad to find out who and what i am dealing with at the beggining, so i can truly say no thanks, and good riddance. 

   There are people claiming to be Christian who have no love in there heart for anything,they use the bible as a power thing, refering to passages in there to suit all acashions,but there heart is not in god they do not know the lord atall. If you collapsed outside there door the best you would get would be an ambulance, they would not soil there hands with helping you. There heart is cold they do not have the love of god in them.

Ch 26. Matthew.

Verse 47. Judas one of the twelve disiples came  with  a large crowd armed with swords and clubs.

Verse 48. The man i kiss is the man you want,said Judas.

Verse 49.Judas went to Jesus and said peace be with you teacher and kissed him.

Verse 55. did you have to come to me as though i am a criminal.said Jesus.

Verse 56. the disciples all left and ran away.

Verse 59. the priests and council tried to find false evidence against Jesus to put him to death but they could not find any.

Verse 67. they spat in his face and beat him.

Verse 69. Peter sat outside when a high priest said to him you were with Jesus of galilee.

Verse 70.Peter denied he knew Jesus.

   All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Verse 19. The disciples did as Jesus asked them and prepared for passover .

Verse 20. When it was evening jesus and the twelve disciples sat down to eat. During the meal jesus spoke, 0ne of you will betray me,he said. 

Verse 22 the disciples were offended by this, one after another they said, "Surely you dont mean me".

Verse 23. the one who dips his bread in the dish with me will betray me.

Verse 25. Judas the traitor spoke up "Surely teacher you dont mean me"

Verse 31. this very night you will run away .

Verse 33. Peter spoke,i will never leave you.

Verse 34. Before the cock crows tonight you will say three times you do not know me.

Verse 36. Jesus went to a place called Gethsenemane, sit while i pray.

Verse 39. jesus threw himself on the Ground ,My father in heaven if it is possible take this cup from me.

       Soon it will be palm Sunday a day that Jesus came into Jerusalem to be greeted by the people, a happy day, people were overwhelmed by Jesus before there change of heart that Jesus knew would happen. 

They lined the streets holding palm leaves to make an arch way for him to come through, the children crowded around him knowing he loved them all.

 But Jesus was burdoned with the knowledge that he was to be crucified. But he would rise again and his spirit would live on forever.Amen

  Friendship needs to be consistant not a hi! i am pleased to speak to you today and tomorrow i will shun you,god would be offended just as we are when somebody does that to us. He is forgiving like a good father but he expects some loyalty from us.

   It is amazing how  we think that we can call on god when in trouble and if he helps us  we then shut the door on him without even a thank you.   And when he does not help  we say there is no god, expecting his help when we have not given him a second thought in a life time. What a cheek!
