Sleepless.
Not much sleep for most of us here in Uk. last night the wind did its best to rip of roof tiles and bring down trees. I have some very big trees near my cottage and the wind howled through them like a roaring tide. My little dog shuffled around all night, very restless.
The trees outside my door stayed but when i took my dog out this morning i met with a blocked road with a large tree ripped out by the roots blocking the road so that i had to take a long trip round through traffic.
The wind was still howling on the fields and a lot of rain must have come down in the night as the fields were squelching and my feet sank into mud that went over my shoes, i was frozen and fed up by the time i got back home and collapsed into a chair just wishing there was somebody to make me a cuppa but there was not so i had to make my own,never mind eh..I was so glad to get back into a warm place. 0h for some sunshine.
