Here we go again

   Jesus words were powerful words and meaningful they came from god. His image as a glowing blonde haired blue eyed man wearing blue and white robes and looking so angelic is far from the reality and truth of this man. We must remember he lived rough some times in the mountains. His skin was probably bronze and parched from the heat of the sun, his hair possibly dark and his eyes dark. His clothes ragged and dusty. He fasted for forty days and nights so he was probably very thin and weak physically, and even more powerful spiritually.

  The image on the shroud we saw was probably more like Jesus than any we have seen before wether it was him or not and i tend to think that it was. 0nly this man as managed to live on for thousands of years the way that he has. The beauty of Jesus was an inner beauty a glow of love and understanding of others and life, those who know him see.

  He was not beautiful to see,he was a peasant, not rich, not wrapped in gold lama, or fabulous robes,he lived as a poor man,no one was drawn to him for his riches or his beauty but for his words of hope and joy.  And yes it was the poor that followed him but they were not simpletons, they were wise.

   If he was so harmless a fool why did they want to persecute him and crucify him, what did they need to fear from a boastful fool, Jesus had convinced them too that he came from god and as far as they were concerned they themselves were there god and they did not want another.  They were afraid of what they saw in this man sent from god they wanted rid of him and his power, Pilate himself was afraid of this man he was asked to crucify.
