Joseph.
Josef Stawinoga was a tramp living in the middle of a city island, he died yesterday. This man was famous but he did not know or care. Some one set up an internet site in his honour that attracted thousands of people.
Joseph was Polish i would love to have heard his story. He saw everybody of in the main shaking his stick at them, God bless his sole..
The old man was eighty seven years of age. Nobody really knew Joseph only one person knew about him who said that he had been an ss man in the nazi army in world war two. What was his story? we shall never know.
His hair was long and wild and his clothes ragged and unkept, he lived in the trees. He was offered a house by the council but refushed and agread to accept a new tent of which he lived in, he also accepted meals on wheels meaning some one would deliver him a meal for free every day. He spoke little english and had no friends or family as far as any one knows..
